TROWEL FINISHES


The most basic type of concrete finish. A smooth finish can be achieved via hand or machine trowel. There are many troweling methods, which range from rough to glass smooth.

Float Trowel Finish:

Produces are rougher surface. May not be completely smooth. Slightly textured surface.
Popular on concrete slab on grade, sidewalks, and driveways.

Hard or Steel Trowel Finish:

Produces a hard wearing, smooth surface. This is a less porous tight (consolidated) finish.
Popular for interior flooring or as a base for decorative coatings or stains.

BROOM FINISHES


Produces a brush texture that is aesthetically pleasing and provides traction to prevent slipping.
Popular for outdoor surfaces like patios, walkways, and driveways.

EXPOSED FINISHES


Found everywhere from factory floors to luxury homes. As title hints, this finish exposes the aggregate in the mix. Once sealer is applied surface is resistant to freeze thaw issues and functionally provides slip resistance and durability. There are many types of exposed finishes. Color can also be added and decoractive materials such a glass or seashells can also be added for a unique look.

DECORATIVE FINISHES


Decorative concrete finishes add character and desing to any project. Always use a qualified concrete finisher for these projects. Design freedom includes different patterns and different colors.

Stamped Finish:


As the in the name concrete 'stamp' mats are laid over curing concrete. There are 12 popular patterns.

Stenciled Concrete:


This finish puts rolls of pattern on concrete. It is not the same as stamp concrete and not offerred in all regions.
