Join because the concrete trades forming, placing, finishing and repair require representation from those that actually do the job.

It is not all talk. Concrete Canada, yes has spent a significant amount of time researching and speaking with concrete companies over the past years. We even engaged in a Provincial Government Sector Labour Market plan. Created Concretes first specificiation and reviewed CSA documentation.

What was revealed was stunning. The very Institutions writing the codes and contracts where surprised at the difference between wet and dry finishing. Then there is addressing a monopoly supplier and voice of the material and the chain of academics, schedulers, supervisors ect. that work on a theory. All of whom are contributing to the end product results.

The only solution to counter the current reality is to engage it. Concrete Canada has already started making a difference. We knew we couldn't go to the 'concrete' trades with just talk.
